Role description
Business Development Executive (Hospitality Recruitment)
Fully Remote | Choose Your Own UK Territory
£17.50 per hour + 10% commission + performance bonuses
10 hours per week initially, with potential to increase to around 15 hours
Freelance | 12-month contract | Initial 4-week paid performance review
E Junior Recruitment is looking for a confident, commercially minded Business Development Executive (Hospitality Recruitment) to develop a new client base within one dedicated UK territory.
This is a genuine new-business role focused on identifying hospitality employers with recruitment needs and converting those opportunities into paid managed recruitment campaigns.
Choose your territory
The successful candidate will choose one region to own and develop:
Greater London
South East
South West
Midlands
North East
North West
Yorkshire
You will not be expected to cover the entire country.
We want you to focus on your chosen territory, understand the hospitality businesses within it and progressively build your own client base and pipeline.
What will you be selling?
E Junior provides a managed recruitment campaign service to employers that need to recruit but don't necessarily have the time or internal recruitment resources to manage the complete process themselves.
Rather than simply introducing one candidate and charging a traditional agency placement fee, we can manage the recruitment campaign from beginning to end.
This can include:
Vacancy briefing and campaign setup
Advert creation
Job-board advertising
Application management
Candidate screening
Shortlisting
Interview scheduling
Candidate communication
Offer management
Collection of agreed onboarding information
The employer retains the final hiring decision.
Recruitment campaign delivery will be managed centrally by an experienced recruitment professional with previous hospitality recruitment experience.
Your focus is winning and developing the client relationship, not screening candidates yourself.
What you'll be doing
Developing hospitality clients within your chosen territory
Researching suitable prospective employers
Making proactive outbound calls and other appropriate approaches
Speaking with owners, managers and other hiring decision-makers
Identifying current and upcoming vacancies
Understanding recruitment challenges
Introducing our managed recruitment campaign service
Creating interest and professionally handling objections
Following up prospective clients
Converting opportunities into paid campaigns
Maintaining relationships with clients you've introduced
Identifying repeat recruitment opportunities
Maintaining accurate records of activity and pipeline
Attending a short weekly performance and pipeline review
Potential clients could include hotels, restaurants, pubs, hospitality groups and other suitable hospitality employers.
What we're looking for
Previous hospitality, recruitment or sales experience would be useful but is not essential.
We're more interested in your confidence, attitude, professionalism, organisation, resilience and ability to generate results independently.
You must be comfortable developing business from scratch.
There will be no established portfolio of clients or warm leads handed to you.
You should not require daily supervision or constant instruction on what to do next.
We'll provide the service, territory, support and expectations. We want someone confident enough to structure their working week, identify opportunities, follow prospects consistently and take responsibility for developing their pipeline.
Pay and commission
£17.50 per hour for 10 hours per week
plus
10% commission on service revenue generated from clients you win , subject to payment being received.
Additional performance bonuses will be available for consistently generating paid campaigns.
Strong performance could lead to additional hours, continued ownership of your territory and a longer-term opportunity as the service grows.
Initial performance review
The first four weeks will be fully paid.
We'll review progress using clear weekly activity and commercial KPIs, including:
Prospecting activity
Decision-maker conversations
Qualified opportunities
Pipeline development
Paid recruitment campaigns
Revenue generated
This is not a heavily supervised telesales role.
You'll have considerable freedom over how you develop your territory provided your activity is professional, properly recorded and producing measurable progress.
A short weekly review will cover results, pipeline, objections and next steps.
Why join?
You'll have the opportunity to build a hospitality recruitment sales territory from the beginning rather than inheriting someone else's desk.
Your role is to open doors, develop relationships and win business.
The recruitment service itself is delivered centrally, allowing you to remain focused on building your territory.
If you're confident that you can create opportunities from scratch and convert conversations into paying clients, we'd like to hear from you.
